Make a Living Supported by the Power of Domestic Animals: I get different kinds of chickens from several poultries. Because I want to cross-breed them so that I can have chickens we used to see quite often. I want strong chickens, not special ones. The ones people used to have in our neighborhood in old days.

Nowadays, pure-blooded chickens have mass appeal. "Their ability to produce eggs is high." "You get good meat." I do not want that kind. They don’t need to have a special point. In other words, I want chickens that lay eggs and taste delicious. It would be enough for me if they produce eggs once in three days. They do not have to produce eggs 365 days a year. next

To be able to provide meat is very important. I see the cycle of nature here. Our chickens eat things around the house. I give them less food in warm seasons so that they eat weeds, insects and centipedes in nature. There must be many centipedes around the house. But our free run chickens must eat them all. Because I don’t see them anymore.

The chickens eat things come from nature, the ecological system. And we eat the chickens. We get energy from them stuffed with the power of chain of lives. The chickens return their droppings to the field. There is the cycle of the earth. next

Nowadays, it is hard to get safe meat. If I want to eat meat and eggs from chickens which are fed only natural food, it requires checking many things and they are very expensive. In that sense, it is easier to grow them by myself. I want to create cycle of breeding, chickens laying eggs, chicks growing, and eating older chickens. It will be good to have a cycle that follows the system of the earth. Chickens function effectively for us. next

Same thing applies with goats. They help us handling the weeds, They can supply meat and milk sometimes. Furthermore, They support our children to grow. For our children, it is better to have relationships not only with parents but also with others.

It could be having a dog, for example, when a child gets scolded by its mother, the crying child can talk and share her feelings with the dog. Not only playing with toys and objects but also communicating with living creatures is important. Domestic animals can help a child’s emotional growth. They support us by weeding, supplying eggs and meat and raising our children. I am very thankful. I feel that we are given all the benefits.
